This spell functions similarly to Polymorph, except you can also affect mundane objects of 1.000 cu. ft. or less, and can grant the subject the form of an object.
Additionally, the subject gains the Intelligence score of its new form, and the Wisdom and Charisma score, if the subject does not have one already.
Damage to the new form can result in injury, or death, such as a rock being ground to dust, or a pile of dust being scattered by wind.
The DM determines whether such damage occurs, generally by the new form sustaining some form of physical force.
The duration depends on how radical the spell's effect changes the subject.
This is determined by the duration factor, which can be affected by any number of the following modifiers:

• +5 - Same kingdom (Animal, Vegetable, etc)
• +2 - Same class (Mammal, Fungi, etc), same size, related (twig is to tree, wolf fur is to wolf, etc), and same or lower Intelligence

Duration factors are then as follows:

• 0 - 20 Minutes, such as a Pebble to Human
• 2 - 1 Hour, such as Marionette to Human
• 4 - 3 Hours, such as Human to Marionette
• 5 - 12 Hours, such as Lizard to Manticore
• 6 - 2 Days, such as Sheep to Wool Coat
• 7 - 1 Week, such as Shrew to Manticore
• 9+ - Permanent, such as Manticore to Shrew

You cannot turn the subject into an object of great intrinsic value, such as gold, gems, or other materials.
Similarly, any object does not gain any unique qualities common for such material.
This spell may also be used to duplicate the effects of the following spells:
Baleful Polymorph, Fleshcraft, Baleful Polymorph, Petrify, Transmute: Mud, Transmute: Rock, Transmute: Wood.
