Transmute: Mud

School: Transmutation
Sub-School: None
Descriptor: Earth & Water
Ritual: Yes
Level: Arcane & Primal 5th
Components: Material, Somatic & Verbal
Casting Time: Standard
Range: Medium
Effect/Target: Up to Ten 10ft Cubes of Natural Mundane Rock
Duration: Permanent, see text
Saving Throw: See Text   The affected natural, uncut, or unworked mundane rock turns into mud.
This is considered Soft difficult terrain.
All creatures affected by this difficult terrain have their Speed reduced to 5, and they are considered Hindered and Vulnerable.   If this spell is used on the ceiling of a cave or tunnel, the mud falls to the floor and spreads out in a 20ft wide and 5ft deep pool.
Any creatures underneath must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 8d6 Bludgeoning damage.   Small buildings and structures may get damaged or partially toppled, if the spell affects the ground underneath.   The mud reverts to dirt after a number of days, depending on the weather and climate, or when affected by Dispel Magic.   Objects or natural brush may be placed on the mud to support creatures, but such areas are still considered normal Soft difficult terrain.   This spell cannot create an area of mud with a depth greater than 10ft.
This spell can affect the rock created by Transmute: Rock.   Material Component: Veiled Orryte & Flowing Vaaryte, both with a value of 50g
