This world was a Roleplay world that was created between two people that were former friends. Twelve years of building something now salvaging.

The world is Mystical and full of wonder and mystery. Think of Gaia as a world in an Massive Multiplayer RPG. Maybe my own version of Fae'run. A world to have stories and full creativity.
Reader Tone
Somewhere in the middle. the world is a fantasy world set in the shadow of a fallen empire that once knew the stars. Everything was lost, and no one knows why. Howevera new world was built atop their ruins and ashes, to continue life.
Recurring Themes
A world in which that can be an open canvas for people to fall right in to create story. Be it small, big, or even become one of the famed heroes of Gaia. The world is big, A large sandbox in which to toss a character in, create your own stories series. A history of a world that was years in making.
Character Agency
As it is now, very few "heroes" are about. But the world has its share of legends, heroes and myths and those who seek to make a name for themselves. Each character can havea story around them, and how they react and interact to the lands around them. Could they lead a revolution in an empire? Sure! will it be easy, nope.
It is not unheard of to these stories and reactions to have happened due to choice.

Drama
Three major sub types of intelligent life share a gigantic world. Clashes can happen between Mer, Man, Beastfolk, and the Mythical beings.
Each Continent has history and mystery, they also have conflict, loss and gains. Not everyone is free, some are oppressed, some rule over, and then you have the ones who are stuck.
In certain areas the races do get along, but not everyone holds these values true. You have the Arrogance of Man, the Pride of Mer, the traditions of the beastman, and the Majesty of the Mythical beings.
The world is bound by what happened to the Combined Empire. Whay did it collapse so long ago, what lands did they once have, what technology did they hold.
What is Gaia wasn't the only planet?
