The Luxxon Freeholds (Luks-son)
The Luxxon Freeholds are a clan of Beastman known as Luxxons that inhabit the tropics of the sea that borders Al-Isiq's Western coast. Officially, the nation isn't recognized by most of the world, only a few nations do. The Freeholds is a pirate-nation that terrorizes all trade amongst Gate-way and Al-Isiq.
It is worth to note that not all Luxxons are involved ,or actively support the Piracy Economy the Freehold engages in. However, most nations don't see this and unfortunately target any and all Luxxon people in order to 'combat' piracy. this economy almost exclusively profits off of Piracy and rarely not much else.
Territories
The Freeholds encompass three major islands in the tropics. THese are the Main Island of Luxxon and Grandis, and minor islands of Cassus and Gift. Lux hold it's Pirate haven capitol on the main island of Luxxon, where they have originated from. The Islands are mostly known to be desert islands however some to hold jungles and dense forests within their in-lands.
Luxxon
The Primary island of the nation. It is a mountainous desert island that is covered in dense jungles and oasis. Making it hard to launch an attack onto. The Island is nearly a natural fortress with too many natural cliffs and spots where the Pirate Lords can easily spot and repel traditional attacks.Grandis
Grandis is the largest of the Luxxon Freehold Islands. It is forgotten of w hat natives were once here, but it may seem they were eradicated or enslaved by the beastfolk of Luxxon. Like Luxxon, Grandis is a large island that has many natural defensive positions, but it also has massive sprawling beaches and Large volcanoes on it's land. It does not have as much foliage as Luxxon, but resembles a massive lagoon overall with all vegetation in the middle of the islands.Cassus
Cassus is amongst the smallest of the islands, the island it self is a massive volcano known as Mount El-Emil. It is said that this is the realm of a great Dragon, but no evidence has been sen of one that lives here. The volcano is amongst the biggest of all of Gaia, as it is surround by a small jungle with black-sand beaches. Like Gift, Cassus is largely unexplored, save for havens and watch towers on its coasts.Gift
Gift is the smallest of the Freehold's Islands. Like Cassus it's a large rocky volcano that has land around it. This however, is mostly a young island with sparse trees on it. It serves asa scout location and marooning location for the piracy networks that run under Luxxon.Jal'Dal and Yvel
Though officially not part of the Freeholds, these nations have become main targets for the pirates over the years. Due to how poorly they are able to counter strike due to the tribal governments, Luxxon sees them as weaklings that can be bullied for recruits and goods to sell on the black market. However like Luxxon and Grandis, these islands are naturally able to be defended well. Any only small raids have ever been conducted onto these islands by Luxxon.Military
The military is almost entirely naval based for the people of Luxxon. There is no official standing armed forces of the Freeholds, as every able fighter is expected to protect their way of life should it be threatened. The Military is entirely volunteer and a fragile union of like-minded pirates and sympathizers that launch asymmetrical warfare upon its foes. According to Luxxon, war has no rules, and anything goes. Each pirate lord engages differently on how they fight and what they consider 'morally right'. Due to this 'rule' the Freehold has committed some of the most questionable and highly enraging acts of atrocities during their wars and piracy runs.
