The Broken Anchor

The Broken Anchor is believed to be a failed or repelled Centric Void Anchor that allowed denizens travel to and from Gaia to the Centrous Void. The Building is ancient. It was said to have been repelled by the Combine Empire itself back in its day.
The Location has since been a place were brave adventurers and thrill seekers have adventured to to try and learn about its otherworldly origins.It is one of many anchors that have been 'dropped' onto Gaia from the Centrous Void. These structures are classified as expert level dungoneering by the Guild of Lore for Adventuring parties that seek adventure in such a place.

Appearance

The Void anchors vary in appearance, and appears as giant spires that have some sort of energy attached to them. At their base usually lays a portal that leads into the Centrous Void. The buildings are made of a metal that has the consistency of obsidian. They usually have Voidic runes amongst them. Like all anchors, the void will bleed through these portals. Thankfully the one at this location has been shut down. The Guild still does express great caution and warnings to all parties that choose these ruins to dungeoneer into.
Out of all anchor points, the Broken anchor was the only one that remained on Al-Isiq. The speculation amongst The Shamrock Wilderness is that this anchor was related to some calamity on the continent in times of antiquity. Most of the population steers clear of this ruin. The Brotherhood of Mercy even decries that the place is cursed, and should be avoided at all costs. It is unknown of the Void can reactivate the portal, the biggest concern of why they stated what they have.
