Navaharis (Naa-var-ess)
Navaharis or Otherwise known as Nahvahr-Benita is a country that occupies the Northern most part of Gateway. It is a very remote and nature heavy place. It is known for its gateway into what is known as Rei-Val.
Nahvaris is a nation of a mixed people. To the Mountains of the Southwest, to the Tall redwoods and wilderness of the coastlines. The nation is amongst one of the most geographical diverse countries of Gateway.
Structure
The Country is led by a Prime Minister. That is elected by elected officials within the nation. The Country is Untamed, this meaning, though it is considered a nation, Most people that reside within it consider themselves loosely affiliated with an elected Government.
The state of the Law Enforcement is handled mostly by Wardens. The Wardens that patrol the Echo Woods are seen as the police force and law enforcement of the nation. Even they are loosely based and affiliated with the government of Nahvar.
Due to the untamed Wilderness of the country it has become a prime spot for adventurers to start in the world. Each city does observe and recognize the leadership's decisions, however they maybe slow in implementing such due to how 'laid back' the country's governors are.
Culture
Nahvar is one of the text-book examples of a wilderness and adventure for people seeking to become adventurers. The law is enforced by small bands of Wardens that take orders from the Grand Marshall of the military. This has created the nation to become a haven for budding adventurers to hone their sport and skill. The Adventurer's Guild of Gateway uses the City of Nahvar to operate out of.
The culture of the country is humble, mostly sporting country and farms the land is perfect for adventurer seekers to start making a name for themselves. The Wildlife usually is a target of the folk, as they are very dangerous. Bandit groups also roam, the Echo Woods. Two mountains are popular hiking spots for parties to get experience, Mt. Valderfall, and Mt. Bastion.
Assets
The country's primary focus is the world-gate that is located in Mt., Opal. This has become a national treasure and most of the focus is to contain that portal in any case that it reactivates. This has led to the drawing of most interests away from the Wilderness a whole and more into the major cities. The Portal is where everyone stops to observe and study.
