Lord Maalalu (Ma-al'law'lew)
Lord Maalalu is a Jade Western Dragon that lives within the Telosian Isles off the coast of Massiez'Laire, most notable around the volcano known as Mt. Hakaua. It is a said that this dragon is a young one, and mostly a trickster. The Foxians call him The Emerald Ruby for his unique coloration as a gem dragon. There is a love-hate relationship between the islanders and the dragon.
Maalalu is a gem dragon, a western variation of gemstone dragons, known for their neutrality and desire for valuable gemstones. His scales are said to be jade green wit ha fiery red chromatic coloration. He also has red Facial markings and stripes down his back.

History of The Firejade
The Firejade is a name that was given to this dragon by a foxian Poet. For they had supposedly came to interview the dragon. Maalalu was a dragon egg that was abandoned at the peak of mt. Hakaua after his mother was slain by another dragon. He was forced to take care of himself, allowing for primal instinct to take over. it was only though his interactions with the Legendary Foxian Poet Maalaku Paulu, that he learned to not hunt the native populations. Maalalu considered himself a trickster by playing pranks on the poet as he came to the mountain for inspiration. He was coined the Firejade by Maalaku, and a name he took as a nickname. He quickly became friends with the foxian, up to the death of him due to an illness. Maalalu took the death hard, as he started to see the foxian as a father. It is said his roars were heard for days when this happened. In his sorrow, he started to play tricks on travelers in the area, in hopes to make contact. he was both afraid and a bit aggressive. As the years went on, travelers usually found themselves getting turned around, or in the middle of answering riddles for passage. Maalalu's playful demeanor changed to protective stance when his trust was betrayed by a dragon Hunter. This was someone who wanted glory and riches, and used Maalalu's isolation and desire for kinship against him. The Hunter ultimately failed when he tried to strike the dragon in his sleep. Maalalu was stabbed, yet in self defense, had taken out the hunter, but in turn, felt betrayed and hurt. So he remains isolated, but for fun, messes with the travelers of Telos. In the end, gettign a mixed reputation from the locals. Top this day, he will offer' quests' to Adventurers from the guild, that usually are for his own entertainment. He sends them off on a silly endevor, and rewards the people who do his chores with money or other valuables.
