"Angel of Flame"
A famous painting by Rei Aramar, Angel of Flame is the only notable artifact of the Social Realist movement, which crested in late Gaia-18 and was effectively destroyed under the "Cultural Abbatoir," an orgy of artistic destruction in the earliest days of the City of Light. Angel of Flame is believed to be the only surviving example of this artistic movement.
Despite its uniqueness, "Angel of Flame" is best known today for having almost been stolen in '48, when an unknown thief dislodged it from its wall casing and nearly escaped out some access panel in the roof of the Museum of Historical Art, before security caught up with them. The thief escaped and left no evidence of their identity.
More recently, the painting was acquired by Jovannan the Wise, and now resides in the "Hall of Man," the massive reception hall of the Firmament Building.
