While the Salvaging Industry salvages airports. It isn’t the only thing that is there at the airport, as there are some luxuries the industry can't take while going from project to project. There are desirable things the workers or the industry needs to be able to function well, that cannot be brought between projects. These industries or businesses are below.

Surrounding Industries

Food sellers and Farmers Market

The food seller sells canned items that are in surplus by the surrounding area. While if the lands surrounding the area are good for crop agriculture, farmers markets will pop up near the Salvaging Industry. This will give the workers of the Industry a more fulfilling diet.

Healthcare

The healthcare provided by the salvaging industry is rather limited, providing only basic first aid. The healthcare given my the local area is much less limited and provide medicines to those who need them for a price of course. It can also provide care on a much more substantial level such as wounds that need stitches.

Toolsmiths

The toolsmith comes from the nearby place, where the airport is situated. The toolsmith repairs the tools of the Salvaging Industry as well as repairs the equipment such as the welding gloves that they use. On rare occasions, the toolsmith may also craft tools that the workers need. Most of the time is it to buy a pocket knife with the handle embossed with a design of the place where they are near. For example, a place with an impressive cathedral or castle will have this incorporated into the handle's design. These knives are considered a collector’s item and a way of marking how long you have worked in the industry similarly to how people put patches on their suitcases of the destinations they have been.
