Structure

Primary and Secondary education is free (“free” through taxation) and the UK style college education has to be paid for. Since such education is not required extra employment can be used to give the necessary education for more enjoyable core jobs. University degrees are not required to get a core job but are required for such professions such as doctors etc. Primary and Secondary education is carried out in the same school in order to save space.

The Education System

Children start school at age 4 and finish secondary at 15 to 16 years. Students are required to complete primary and secondary education but can choose to go to college and University.

Levels Of Education

There are levels of Education that one would have to complete to be considered for a role. For example, a bookkeeper would need a bookkeeping course at the college level to have their role. Accountants, Lawyers and Doctors would need degree level in their representative field to be considered for their roles.

University And Tuition

If a degree is needed for jobs such as lawyers, judges and doctors etc, then this type of education needs to be paid out of pocket as there are no student loans and therefore something of the wealthy or the miserly, unless you want to have an apprentice-style degree. There is a system for those who are unable to afford University tuition.
This is where the budding student has to work at the University and studies while on the job, while some degrees will be harder, as the person's job may be to work in the kitchens while doing a chemistry degree. Others will not have any issues as it does not require specialist equipment or an area to be studied. These types of degrees run like apprenticeships, but their hours of work will still be regimented with their study hours.
If the apprentice has an Extra Employment they will have their well being considered. They will also have two sources of income and may spend some of the income to have bed and board. This system of accommodation is flexible, so it can be that the apprentice has bed and board on specific days and returns to their parent’s apartment etc on others.

How Qualifications Are Stored

The certification of the qualification is registered at the City Hall on punch cards as no physical representation is given to the student or apprentice upon achieving the qualification at any level.
