History
Prestory
He grew up on a ranch farm, learning the ins and outs of a life working there. He suffered an injury in his youth that left his hands terribly scarred, after which he began to hide himself away. He spent much of his free time training horses, or studying various things that interested him.Rookie Knights Arc

Tall and slim build, with a long tail that possesses the traditional arrowhead tail tip of the Tiefling race.

Tall and slim, but not lanky. Not particularly muscular, either. Leans towards a more athletic build.

Long, black claws
Curious, thick black scars on the backs of his hands. The scars are years old, but seem to be slowly spreading with a strange vein-like pattern. They have turned his hands entirely black.
Special abilities
He is shown to be able to magically summon Bee to his side, and even influence the type of magical damage she is capable of.

Hand-sewn clothes made by a close friend.
Leather collar/choker around neck. Sometimes replaced by a blue striped scarf.

Personal history
Prior to Knighthood
Kairon Kadence was born and raised in a small tiefling refuge village across the mountains, where he grew up learning to run and maintain a large farm alongside his family. He grew quite close with his family, and with his father in particular. The late Syrus Cadence’s passing to a sudden illness left quite a terrible impact on the youngest son of the household.Rookie Knights

Mental Trauma
Vigilance suffers from a very mild case of amnesia, caused by an event when he was very young that left him with terrible scarring on the backs of his hands. The scarring appears potentially cursed, but no curse has been identified as of yet.
Suffers from severe agoraphobia and social anxiety, but he’s working on it.
Intellectual Characteristics
He’s a bit stupid, but very studious. He has successfully learned multiple languages over the years.

The concept of one intentionally intimidating or causing direct harm to an undeserving person is wholly abhorrent to Vigilance, and he absolutely detests anyone willing to do so.

Can be cold/vaguely hostile towards people he believes to be morally corrupt, regardless of the difference in social status.
Often comes across as cold/uncaring towards people who don’t know him very well.

Kail - boyfriend. Vigilance loves this man with all of his being. Do not hurt him. You will die.
Cadenza - They might as well be siblings at this point. Nevermind the fact that she’s a Cambion from the Hells.
Hemo Histomein - Vigil’s best friend ! He trusts Hemo’s input more than he trusts most others’ and is more willing to listen to him than to almost anyone else.
Family Ties
His mother, Arowyn, and brother, Zeron, both still live in Arcadia. Vigilance misses them a lot, and tries to send them letters as often as he can. He manages to mostly send one out every week.
Religious Views
He is a follower of Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon. He’s the only member of his village with a distinct faith, as far as he’s aware.
Social Aptitude
He’s very awkward but well-meaning and tries his best. He can be blunt when he’s unfamiliar with someone, but he’s just as likely to go non-verbal when his stress levels get too high.

He’s kind-hearted to a fault and goes out of his way to help others, even when he doesn’t know them well. He’s otherwise somewhat withdrawn and prefers to keep to himself, or with a small selection of trusted individuals.
