Narset
Demographics
Because of the city's more lenient view on races compared to any other city in Mercy, there is a more healthy mix of races within it. Though alot of prejudice still exist in the city, but Evan'hal tries to keep it to a minimum
Most of Narset's populace have become poor after the end of the war, and the city has adjusted thanks to this. Most the population is working class and help with the city's main export of metals. and those who haven't have turned to a less than legal form of gaining income
Government
As of now, The government is under the control of Evan'hal as he tries to keep the rest of the countries instability from seeping into its walls, though that is proving difficult due to pressure from other counts in the country demanding that Narset join a side in the succession struggles happening in Mercy.
Defences
Narset is currently fielded by a small militia that is Evan'hal's personal military from when the Mercy/Eastland war first broke out. They have stayed with him even after the collapse of Mercy's government and protect the city as its guards. However because of the size of the city and the focus on protecting the city from outside threats, the city itself can seem lawless at times with not enough guards within its walls. This militia is led by Evan'hal's Adjucator.
The Walls that surround the city are sturdy and would fend off most roving bandits, but could not stand against a full siege like Chargrove's walls could. They make up for this with patrols and emplaced weapons on the battlements of the walls, such as ballista's and cannons.
Industry & Trade
Narset is both a mining city and a where most metals are processed within Mercy. Most common blades and metal implements you find within the country can trace their origin to this city and its exports.
Architecture
Due to the decades of instability within Mercy, most of Narset's buildings have suffered as the city tries to focus on keeping its citizens safe from invasion by other Mercy nobles. The streets are narrow and the buildings have a run down feel to them, even the aristocracy of the city has suffered and their homes lie either abandoned or in a state of complete disrepair.
Climate
Like most places within Mercy, the temperature is usually rather low, and the city sees a fair amount of snow in just about any season
Natural Resources
Narset is built upon a huge network of caves, that is rumored to even lead to the Underdark, these caves are filled with natural metals that have yet to run dry in the centuries the mining operations have been happening
