Mama Cornflower
The largest and oldest of the Mumbee ratfolk population, Mama Cornflower has seen generations grow up in Down Town.
Mama keeps track of supplies and division of labor to afford her kin the most comfortable and cozy spaces possible. No ratfolk is ever turned away, but they are all expected to pitch in. Mama isn't in charge of supplies because she's the oldest, but was put in charge ages ago because she has expensive hobbies that no one else wanted to manage.
Mama runs a subterranean herb and mushroom garden which takes in light from three surface grates and mirrors to adapt for time of day. If she asks you to help with the garden, she's seen you do good work. If she tells you to adjust the mirrors, you are paying for poor work or rudeness with back pain for a few days.
The younger generations pass rumors that Mama Cornflower is the daughter of Midgeet and the founder of their race, but Mama was born in Mumbee and the ratfolk fled to this land from Kenta lands in the south.
