Kewan (Suvi Island)

The island of Kewan (kə-wɑn), south of coastal Kenta, is part of a chain of Suvi inhabited islands. Settlements stretch along the coast north, east, and south. Fishing and shipbuilding occupy locals on the northern coast. Others on Kewan are employed with basketry, net weaving, and alchemy, including dyes, inks, and magical potions.   Mount Keel, a long and narrow peak, towers at the center and western shore of Kewan. The volcanic activity just offshore west of Kewan keeps most inhabitants away from the western side of the island.

Tourism

Mount Keel is an attraction for elves on their wandering, seeking a connection with the earth and fire. They find the mountain restorative.
