Heiden the Muse is the fourth child of the gods Llondel and Kelara. He is athletic and strong, but his passion is for sculpture. He shapes igneous rock with tools and magical fire, creating breathtaking and terrifying animals.
Heiden was once so pleased with an artist's rendering of a woman that he brought her to life, only to be rejected by her. Since then he has refused any request to breathe life into art. Unfortunately, word of his deed spread through Frigranden, and he has been inundated with requests since.
The great statuary garden of Libete is adjacent to the home and workshop of Heiden the Muse. The garden is a home for Heiden's works, the artistic gifts he has received, and the most thriving botanical garden on Frigranden. Heiden employs three gardeners and a tour guide. The garden has the most visitors in the month of Jewel when Heiden hosts The Art Rendezvous in Libete.
Manicured gardens are woven with stone and brick pathways leading past life-sized statuary and stone fountains. A hexagonal gazebo at the center of the garden is set up for tea service three times a day. From late spring through early autumn the main paths are lined with bioluminescent mushrooms which cast a pale blue light.
