Chargehire

A for hire Frale position hired by private companies or rich individuals needing a Frale's Effects. Often used as bodyguards and personal security, they have been known to dabble in more nefarious positions for their employer. As Frale, they can only operate in Maincities, and need separate transportation when crossing Bridgeform, and are generally up for local jobs.

Activities include protecting individuals committing illegal acts, guarding locations where contraband are located, smuggling undocumented persons across bridgeways whether themselves or others. It's not uncommon that the highform uses the chargehire as a scapegoat when confronted by an Agentform. It's a dangerous job in more ways than the original job description entails.

The term "charge hire" comes from the dated and derogative term for Spark, and the job is generally disliked by Frale trying to bridge the gap between the Frale and Humane. There's a number of petitions to change the title of the position, and change the whole job description, and power included in the profession.
A new chargehire doesn't get paid much by their employers, and is a more coveted job by young Frale looking for a get out of the Frale Districts quick plan.
Like most things, DEPART limits the number of chargehires in a city, as they has been more involvement in suspicious situations that have included with a number of chargehires.
