Qillqana Isku (Kill-can-naa Ees-koo)

by hughpierre

Qillqana - Isku (a.k.a. The Savage)

Physical Description

Body Features

Though she never married, Qillqana possessed a slender womanly body considered ideal in birthing her eventual sons.

Facial Features

Qillqana possessed a plump exoticness in the eyes of those around her: sideburns that sometimes cover her ears, a non-prominent nose, babyish cheeks and pink lips.

Apparel & Accessories

In the Forest

Qillqana was found laundering the skirt/loincloth and fading pink top bindings she wore in a shallow creek.

In the Sun Court

When she entered the court, she was gifted accessories of turquoise earrings and bracelets.

Mental characteristics

Sexuality

Seductiveness

A noticeably hourglass figure and heavy breasts that turned the male gaze whenever she entered the room. She was capable of adopting a sultry whenever she wished. And never seemed to mind being the object of obvious lust; even finding amusement in distracting the messengers meeting with her mistress.
Whenever she makes a CHA check when interacting with the opposite gender, it gains a +4 bonus if the proficiency bonus is applied to the check.

Employment

Aid to the Blue Princess

When Qillqana was 18, and only understanding the basics of her language, she was given to the 14 year old Princess Qhusi as a female companion. It was the only proper job she had in her life. Qillqana knew of the princess's ambitions and was completely supportive of her. Strangely, acting as such a female role model who ironed out her less than useful personality traits.   She acted as Qhusi's unofficial secretary in personal matters. At times, Qillqana seems to be the only one able to read the princess' mood. Without prompting, and on Qillqana's own behest, she would:
  • demand everyone to give her space to think
  • rescue her from awkward situations
  • provide an outlet to her frustrations
  • restrict people from seeing her when she is troubled
  • Failures & Embarrassments

    Thievery

Qillqana once confessed that the reason she ran away from her tribe was to escape punishment for stealing.

    Mental Trauma

    Wild Child

According to Qillqana; after being found scantily clad in the forest, she was taken to the loggers' base camp.   They eventually decided to sell her as a 'beautiful savage' through a chain of important men in Tawantinsuyu's many peaks and valleys before reaching the final peak and being considered for the House of Women.

Supposedly, she was sold at ever greater profits for the one selling her because, throughout her long journey, she remained undespoiled. Although, Qillqana herself has claimed she had lost her virginity during this year of her life. Whether or not this was true, it was probably in her best interest to say so. In the spirit of maintaining favourable political relations; beautiful girls who are not noble, but are in the House of Women, may be the first to be considered for sacrifice.

    Intellectual Characteristics

    Adventurous

Qillqana is clever, sneaky and prefers to do things without any set plan in mind. She would be trusted with special assignments on the side by the princess during diplomatic missions abroad.
When making a DEX saving throw to take only half damage, she instead takes no damage if it succeeds and only half damage if it fails.

    Personality Characteristics

    Motivation

    Personal Stability

Qillqana, having escaped from her tribe at age 12, deeply desired a comfortable life.
  • At Level 1: Gains a +4 bonus to all CHA-based checks against others sexually attracted to her. This bonus increases by +1 for every 2 levels she is above the target.
  • At Level 3: She deals extra 1d6 damage from sneak attacks which stacks with other sources.
  • At Level 8: She is regarded favourably immediately by one target at a time (within 2 level diff.). However, they receive a +5 bonus on its saving throw if Qillqana or her allies attack them; or to convince them to do anything they would not ordinarily do.
  • At Level 15: The level 8th's ability extends potentially to animals.
  • Hygiene

Qillqana, even when on the run, took pains to keep herself clean while alone in the forest to avoid potential diseases. This included
  • Chewing on sticks to clean her teeth
  • Regularly checking her skin for ticks and removing them
  • Burying her wastes
  • Rubbing tree oil to repel insects
  • Social

    Contacts & Relations

    Blue Court

Qillqana was the only one of Qhusi's companions who did not know her since childhood. They would frequently make snarky remarks towards one another that would normally be inappropriate for an Innoit princess. But that Qillqana would freely bite at anyone on Qhusi's behalf.
While she was thankful of her presence, princess Qhusi had occasionally displayed some raw attitude towards her. Perhaps seeing her form as mockingly curvaceous in comparison to the princess's sharper features.

    Religious Views

    Sun Worship

At least one of the savage tribes can be confirmed to venerate the sun. Qillqana has regaled tales of lizard dances to the beat of the drum, sacred sites forbidden for occupancy and chants that summon fire to anyone curious to ask. However, none of her claims could ever be verified by explorers.
Is it so inconceivable she simply made up stories to entertain the princess and her friends.
