Vanquisher of Mindflayers
Thorduin is the eldest son of the Lionheart Patriars of Baldur's Gate. The Lionhearts are horse breeders and have made a good fortune with the trade.
On the 18th of Eleasis 1492, he was captured by a Mindflayer Nautilus and infected with a Mindflayer Tadpole Parasite. This parasite unbeknownst to anyone was influenced by Ancient Netherese Magic, and granted him psionic powers without transforming him. That coupled with the Astral Prism protected Thorduin even through contact with Absolute Elder Brain which he took control of, and deactivated all infecting tadpoles.
