Ten Steps Inn

Name comes from 10 flagstones leading up to the small porch, made of imported white-speckled granite.

A modest establishment with a dozen rooms. Kitchen is decent, with a shield dwarf cook who always has some cultural fare on special. Drinks are available, but it's not a tavern. Standard prices all around except for an imported dwarven stout (the cook's favorite and a common ingredient in the special) that is double the regular price for an ale.

Defenses

A couple of Rivington Rats keep an eye on the place day and night, keeping up their end of the protection money they charge but also on the lookout for any marks.
