Thunder Tree (s2) Report
General Summary
Left the Druid and took the eastward road. Encountered large webs across the road coming from the building on the south side of the road. Party made it through the webs like ninjas.
Found the Herbalist Shop and the box that they were told about. Inside found an emerald pendant and 4 multicolored woven bracelets. The bracelets are magical and require attunement.
South west of the herbalist shop they found the smithy. Vanquished the Ash Zombies inside. Took the back door of the smithy to examine the shop with spiderwebs. Inside they spot a giant spider and shoot it from outside the back door. Mist kills it quickly with an ice dagger. Leiah goes further inside and finds another giant spider. They quickly dispatch it. They spot the cocooned corpse of an elvish adventurer. They cut it down, take the armor, sword, coins and a healing potion.
From there they go back to the south east and find the back of a decrepit barn. It is almost a complete ruin and empty. They are able to spot a small farmhouse out the east door and notice all the windows are shuttered and doors closed. They go up and knock on the door and find people inside. After back and forth a man calling himself Favric opens the door and introduces himself as the head of this group. They are trying to make contact with the dragon in the area and he agrees to go with the party to try and persuade the dragon to leave to a better area. He brings 3 men with him, leaving some behind to guard the farmhouse.
From there they head north along the road, passing the Weavers since Book thinks there might be evil plants inside.
In the town square they see a 10ft wooden statue of a man holding a shield and a spear. On the north side of the square is a Barracks that is in rather good condition. The two groups enter the barricks and fight off the ash zombies inside.
