The Dancing of the Lights

When night falls, the Undersea Aurora comes to life. This mesmerizing display illuminates the underwater world, casting beautiful colors on the sandy ocean floor and the flora and fauna.

Songs of the Sea

The denizens of Leshiven are home to diverse and usually peaceful communities of humans, magical creatures, and intelligent beings. Each village has its own distinct culture and traditions, but they all share a reverence for the natural world. Those by the coast, referred to simply as coastlanders, in particular have developed a relationship to the sea and the enchanting aurora beneath its surface.
The island communities hold festivals and celebrations during the peak of the aurora borealis. These events bring people together from all the islands to celebrate the interconnectedness of their world and the wonders of the undersea aurora. It's a time of storytelling, feasting, music, and dance, as well as a chance for the Luminauts, guardians of the undersea aurora, to pass down their knowledge to the next generation.
One of the main songs sung is a nursery rhyme (seen right). The twinkling eyes of sleepy children and a sense of wonder weaves its way around the tents as it is sung by children and their beloved guardians, their faces lit up in the hues of the jubilant sea.
In a world beneath the waves so deep, Where sea creatures frolic and play, A magical secret they all keep, As the night turns into day.   When the sun bids us goodbye, And stars twinkle up above, The ocean comes alive, oh my, With a light show full of love.   Oh, the Undersea Aurora's bright, Colors dancing in the night, Watch it shimmer, watch it gleam, In this enchanted, undersea dream.   Luminescent creatures appear, Their magic fills the deep blue, With every twirl, a light so clear, In a mesmerizing hue.   The sea dragons join the display, With wisdom in their eyes, They guide us through our everyday, In dreams where adventure lies.   So, little one, close your eyes, And sail to this wondrous sight, With the Undersea Aurora's ties, We'll journey through the night.   When morning comes, we'll softly wake, The aurora's dance complete, But in our hearts, its magic we'll take, Until the next night we meet.
