Tekh-Mudretsy
The Tekh-Mudretsy is the current ruling power of Strugatovkan territory. It is ont of the most ancient organisations of the island, as its creation predates even The Founding. It was at its core a group of scientists and engineers working on the ships of the fleet that carried the first Strugatovkan settlers.
They are numerous and are very inclined to find ways to better the education system on the island - to replicate the scientific elite they already are.
They are very bureaucratic and every discovery has to go through a strict ethical committee to be able to publish and use the works of researchers. Recenlty, it is rumored that less and less papers and researches are validated to be shown to the public and used. The Tekh-Mudretsy is very secretive and are very wary of foreign spies.
Technological Level
The Tekhs have the most advanced technology and scientific knowledge available in the Island. Other realms are ready do pay handsomely to gain access to their famous Artefact Engines, engines who powers most of The Capitol and the settlements of Strugatovka. Some ships can also be powered by the most recent miniaturised engines, but they are said to only be prototypes. Due to the potentially dangerous nature of the power source of these engines and the technology it powers, it is heavily guarded and its craft is kept relatively secret.
Infrastructure
The Tekh-Mudretsy has total control over the main Capitol University, and all its different laboratories, many of which are closed to public access, and some being in remte locations to avoid any catastrophic failures. For security reasons, their locations are known only by upper echelon members of the organisation.
