Background

Arthur Schlockett was a billionaire industrialist before the war, building affordable domestic robots, a direct competitor to the more prestigious and popular RobCo robot manufacturer. Seeing America fall into ultranationalism in the Resource Wars, Schlockett looked to build a utopia to retreat into. In 2075, he began the construction of All American City, a planned city suspended from a cliff, so there was only one way in or out. By the fall of 2077, All American City was almost complete. Hundreds of custom-built SchlockettBots were active and ready to service a human population. Arthur Schlockett, always a strange loner, had no friends or family to invite. He began taking applications for entry from across America. He was still in the approval process when the bombs dropped.
Arthur was alone with his robot entourage. The SchlockettBots served him for as long as they could, but he soon died of radiation poisoning. The robots had no purpose, but could not rest. For centuries, and out of confusion, they lured humans into their cliffside city and "served" them - by pummeling them to death. Some SchlockettBots, like Betty Bagger, resisted the madness, still understanding that serving people didn’t mean killing them. Assistant Andy had been a multipurpose robot, doing some lifting, delivery and security. He never descended into homicidal madness. He always kept up his friendly, 1950's B-Movie robot demeanour.
In April of 2317, the party entered All American City, looking for treasure sacred to the Reavers religion. They found it, and defeated the killer SchlockettBots. Unable to reprogram Betty Bagger and her friendly bots from their need to serve Arthur Schlockett, they opted to put the robots in hibernation. Before they left, Mouse painted himself into Arthur Schlockett's portrait, noting below that this was, "Fynn Schlockett, Arthur's first-born."
In June of 2317, a group of Reaver tech cultists entered All American City looking for salvage. They awoke the SchlockettBots. Seeing the painting, Betty Bagger sent SchlockettBots all over America to find the Son of Schlockett, to serve him. Andy was sent to Kentucky. Andy heard there was a Schlockett Industries factory near Kentucky Dam. He ventured into Wurth Industries, and was trapped by killer robots. Coincidentally, Patch Radam the ghoul was also trapped in that factory the next day.

The Game

Story Arc 9 (Kentucky Dam)
The Current Adventuring Party came across Andy and Patch at the old Wurth Industries robotics factory. But, a day later, Linda and her friends cleared the factory of evil robots and freed them. Dr. Patch and Andy joined the party, who were headed to Homeland, within the Midwest. The group wished to send an important telegram which they could not explain. Andy wanted to continue eastward, still looking for the local Schlockett factory, but Arminius was able to convince Andy to stay. Crossing the only bridge over the Ohio River, they made it to Homeland and Dr. Patch exerted his authority to send the telegraph. Andy made sure to mention the Son of Schlockett often and with enthusiasm.
    Story Arc 10 (Betrayal)
Andy journeyed with the party, happily joining them in their exploits. He began to be confused by their complex system of ethical choices. Andy's companions would talk with some people, but kill others. The SchlockettBot asked for clarification with these ethical subroutines and received confusing input, especially from Beau the artificially intelligent rifle. Being with these companions meant lots of combat and Andy discovered the joys of smashing his pneumatic fist through something's head so that remains of the head remained around his arm like a ring. If he smashed through a lot of heads, his arm became like the skewer of a shishkebob.
Andy's life was changed dramatically when the team delved into the Schlockett Industries factory in Calvert City. Though they had to destroy many of Andy's kind to make it to the central computer, they eventually did, finding an old holotape recording. This recording was of Arthur Schlockett himself, made before the war, when Arthur was attempting a dangerous publicity stunt and thought he might die. The billionaire inventor declared that upon his death all of his holdings should pass to his SchlockettBots, whom he considered his children. Andy had been searching for the Son of Schlockett, only to find that it was him all along. He spread the word to the other SchlockettBots that they were all children of Schlockett. Within his Schlockett pocket locket, he replaced the face of the young man with a crude drawing of himself.
    Story Arc 11 (War!)
Andy continued to travel with the Current Adventure Party, assisting them when asked. He still struggled with their bizarre moral matrix, but cheerfully accepted new directives. Having heard Arthur Schlockett complain about Robert House and RobCo Industries in his holotape, Andy was filled with new purpose. Now he wished to right the wrong which had been done to his creator years ago. The people of America should be using SchlockettBots, not inferior RobCo designs. Although, travelling through The Capitol in the early days of an international war, he didn't find any buyers.
