A Ball in the Heart of Kern

Back in Staleshoal
The party returns back to Staleshoal stock up on supplies. Both Gloria and Bostwick get pent up tensions between the two of them released, resulting in Gloria being kicked high in the air and into a dumpster. Once that got resolved, Cassius became irritated by how immaturely they behaved.
Servitor Visitations
And so, as everyone slept, the rooms became cold and the music players became active on their own. The Servitor has come to make arrangements.
Daniel
The Servitor visited Daniel and offered an arrangement to be made to help him be paired up with a special someone he's come to know. Daniel agreed, albeit a little put off by such a strange way to make these dealings, as well as the arrangement in question.
Gloria
Gloria was reasonably spooked by the Servitor's appearance, throwing everyone she had to deter this visitor. She ultimately denied this strange silhouette of a man, agitating his nerves before disappearing.
Calvegarde
Come morning, the group spoke about their experiences with the Servitor. Initially they thought it was a strange dream but... now knowing that it was something shared among everyone else... they remain vigilant on the journey back to Calvegarde.
Due to the absence of Mikhael Kardec, our saddened Imperator has announced a new advisor to take his place. The Head of the General Assembly, Caius Helvetican, has graciously been appointed to take his place. We have done an interview with him on what his approach will be. The Cavalcade Chronical can assure you, citizens of Cordero, that Caius will prioritize problems that may continue to fester within our country, such as finding a solution to the unrest in Marecoro. Where Mikhael favored brutish means to find problems, Caius favors a stern civic engagement angle. We can have faith he can find solutions to quelling our problems.
On returning to the City, Daniel crafted a spell that would detect Infernal affinity within the city. Upon its completion with what time he had for the week, it was enough to assure him that the district around their garage was clear of any of it.
For Cassius, his father became baffled by the strange receipts he has received. In exchange for not questioning any of it, he would have Cassius meet with Katarin Brodgarten, the niece to Chancellor Vadima of Kern, and have them be together in arranged marriage. These first steps would take place at a ball within Kern itself.

Bostwick managed to intimidate a Cinderseer, ruining their chances of setting up a temple within Kern.
Cassius met with Katarin Brodgarten, seeing that she is a soft spoken and disillusioned young noble much like Cassius.
Gloria met with Amadeus to get a briefing over the recent state of Marecoro. Thanks to a peculiar absence from command, Amadeus assumed authority and managed to keep the peace by working with civilians rather than trying to socially engineer them. He also talked about Caius Helvetican, the advisor replacement for Donovan Foster. Amadeus has faith in Caius as he has a history of being a strict but fair personality during his prior time as Head of the General Assembly.
Daniel was instructed by Cassius to try and detect any affinities within the room. He managed to detect the following in the table below. After, he met up with Amelia Cerine of all surprises, as if it was just up to fate. The two talked and discovered that Director Akord had survived by some miracle from a vicious attack, as if some higher power wanted him intact.

With little warning, a different song comes on, one more rural in nature. Despite this fact, no one really seems to notice and continues to enjoy themselves. Even the elderly singer seems off, as if something has him possessed to sing with a different voice.
The tune itself is swingy in nature with the hope and cheer of wanting to find love. By the end, everyone takes a humble bow and have a good laugh in spirit. The music from there continues to play waltzes and other beautiful works.
Despite any skill or practice, both Cassius and Daniel danced pretty well given their ability, almost as if something had guided their steps. What both Cassius and Daniel notice about Katarin and Amelia are their eyes. Very soft and subtle circles can be seen if one were to pay close enough attention, as if they hadn't slept well.
Gloria, however, she saw a peculiar roden wearing a Dover uniform. Old memories came flashing into her mind. Somehow, the slippery little man was alive. Answers may need to be had...

Any allied character into the same zone during that specific combat scene gains a +1 boost to Fight or Shoot. This stunt costs 1 Fate Point and the buff lasts to the end of the combat scene. Cordero's Finest When it comes to matters of battle tactics and war strategy, Gloria may roll Fight in place of Investigation or Notice. Quarter-Roden, Bitch! Gloria has embraced her heritage, and has a powerful bite attack to use in melee combat. This bite can also be used for creative problem-solving.
