Amata
Amata of Tirasha
Amata is the youngest of 6 children. She was born in a small home in the slums of Tirasha and spent her early years being taken care of by older siblings and roaming the streets with them. When she was 5, she was discovered to be God-Chosen. Her parents were sad that she would be leaving, but grateful that she had a comfortable life ahead of her. She left home and moved up river to Zedda.
Amata became close friends with Kaylis and Shavi. Her background in poverty made her quite ambitious, and she worked hard with the dream of becoming the Oracle. She suceeded in becoming a Shining Maiden, but lost the position of Oracle to Kaylis when they were 17. Her friendship with Kaylis was never quite the same after that.

She excels at Tanishian Divination, and is especially good at seeing the present through meditation. She is good at interpreting dreams, both hers and others', but struggles to reach beyond the void and communicate with the dead.
