Temple Fairies/Satan's Priests

Temples

Temples are the place of worship, dedicated to either Glitter God, Satan, or sometimes both. These temples are a sanctuary that welcomes people to spend some time here, to relax, meditate and talk to their gods. Of course, these temples can’t run themselves, but are taken care of by temple fairies and satan’s priests.

What do fairies and priests do?

Every temple is staffed with several fairies or priests. While fairies are more directly connected to Glitter God, they and the priests do pretty much the same things. The main job of both is to take care of the temple, do some basic cleaning and decorating, host daily prayers and meditations and talk to people who come here for advice. They are also in charge of all of the donations that go through the temple. They accept all of the offerings people bring here to gods, and they are the ones who give them gifts from gods as well. Though all of them handle the offerings, only the higher ranking fairies are actually allowed to speak to gods.

Besides this, some are also working in the offices on the lot that take care of any official business people need to do here. A lot of these jobs are given to regular people, but there is always a fairy or a priest in charge of everything.

Head fairy/priest of the temple

Of course, every temple needs someone to be in charge of everything, and this is a head fairy/priest of the temple. The one put in that position oversees everything that goes on in the temple, and all of the other employees of the temple answer to him. On top of that, he still interacts with the visitors of the temple, as he is usually the wisest one, and the one who is the most in touch with Glitter God or Satan, often the only one who is allowed to speak to gods. Of course, it’s hard to get to him, and he usually only talks to people who are in the most need of advice. For minor problems, the advice of other fairies or priests should be enough.

How does one become a temple fairy or a priest?

This is actually one of the hardest jobs to get. Usually, one would become a temple fairy/priest, if one of their parents was one. They would study Glitter Bible from a young age, and be expected to read and learn about different ancient religions as well. They are expected to be educated in history, spirituality, medicine and psychology, and they should know a lot about gods and the world that they created - the one that we live in.

Of course, anyone can start learning anything at any time, but for the vast amount of knowledge you will need for this job, it’s ideal that you start learning at a young age from a parent who is doing this job. That way, a child has first hand experience in how a temple is run, and in secondary school, they already start helping out with simpler tasks at the temple.

Once out of school, they become a proper priest, and start doing more complicated tasks, though they are not yet ready to offer advice to visitors.

After years of work and experience, one would advance to an advisor, and if you really work hard for it, you may even become a head fairy/priest of your own temple. This, of course, will take years and years of work experience, and only one can be a head priest/fairy of the temple.

Keep in mind thought that, while it's not impossible to become a priest later in life and if you're not a child of a priest, it would be extremely hard.
