Halcyon Resorts
Beginnings
Halcyon Resorts/Neon Beach was a company created by RD and his BFF, although this is not what it was called from the beginning. They both came from rich families and were spoiled kids whose lives revolved around pool parties. But one day while walking around the less wealthy town of atlds, they realised something disturbing: everyone here lived in apartments or houses without their own pools. And what is more, there was no local pool in sight in the area! How are all these people to have pool parties?
This troubled them and they tried to come up with a solution. They were making calculations, looking at maps and drank cocktails for weeks, when they found it: a vacant lot for sale. Now, it wasn’t very big, but it was easily affordable on their budget, and just big enough for a decent pool. It was then when they made their decision. Both of them would leave their family companies, put their money together, buy the lot and build a pool.
Neon Beach pool & Gloden Years
The works took seemingly forever, and after months and months of hard work, planning and building, Neon Beach was open. They used their money and influential friends to advertise it; it was a hot spot for their rich friends, popular DJs and social media influencers. Every day was a party and local people were more than willing to pay for the night spent near all the fancy rich people.
RD and his BFF hired people to do all the boring business work for them, while they partied at the pool almost every single day. And that’s how their lives were for the next few years: partying and raking in profits. And after a few years, they earned quite a nice amount of money. Enough, to buy a new, bigger lot in a different district, with even greater parties, even more famous guests and even pricier cocktails. Now, nothing could stop them and they made a bold move to build a water park, halfway between the rich district of Å+*4~ and Fairy Gardens.

But sooner or later, all parties must come to an end. RD and his BFF grew out of non-stop partying, they both started families and calmed down a bit. They were at a perfect point of their lives to spend some down time with their wives in spas. And so a new idea was born: They decided to add a nice upscale spa in the rich district to their pools. This spa was named Halcyon Spa and it was the first resort named after what would later become a company name. And as time went on, they had children, and the children grew up and started working alongside their fathers. Now with most of the business in their children’s hands, Richard’s dad and his BFF though about their next venture. They had pools, they had a spa, but what they really wanted was a full vacation resort, with a hotels, spa, beach, indoor pool, fitness bars and restaurants. They picked a location far away in Fairy gardens and started construction on the resort they would call Lotus Resort.

With all the work being done in Fairy Gardens, and their kids being all grown up, it was time to pass the business on. RD and his BFF gave the smaller pool and the spa to Richard, and the water park went to BFFs children.
After Richard took over his part, he renamed his part to Halcyon resorts, added a beach resort in Central District of Å+*4~, and invited his own BFF, Leonard, to run the business with him. Since RD’s time, the pool has faded somewhat from the spotlight. It wasn’t anymore the party hotspot for influencers that it used to be. And while Richard still strives to keep the pool and the beach resort as fun spots for young people with frequently organized concerts and parties, he also wants his resorts to be a place for relaxation and escape from fast daily life. He also added a play area for children, to make the pool more inclusive and welcoming to families.
While the Halcyon company still works as one, Richard and his son Andrej are now more focused on management of the Spa, while Richard’s BFF took over the pool and the beach area.
Neon Beach & future of Hotel Resort
Meanwhile, BFFs kids are still more focused on party places for young poeple. Besides the water park in Fairy Gardens, they built a new water park closer to the Desert. The biggest one, and being set in the hottest area, this is the one that today makes the most profit.
RD and his BFF are still managing their beach resort in Fairy Gardens. And when the time comes for their children to pass their resorts to their children, one of them will take over the beach resort and RD and his BFF may enjoy their retirement in peace, proud of all they built :’3
