Industrial area is the largest fully industrialized area of the world, known for producing everythng from cheap mass produced items to the highest quality electronics. And District 708/34-87 in particular is known for producing the absolute best quality electronics you can get in our world. All of the BunTech’s and SQR’s production facilities are right here. Actually our world should thank this district for being as technologically advanced as it is.
The Town
This district is pretty much the same as what you’d find anywhere else; factories, production facilities, offices, and transport trucks driving around, getting goods and sending them out. It’s a busy town that pretty much literally never sleeps. For a mole used to nice nature and fresh air, this place is full of metal buildings and no grassy areas, but the artificial people and robots living here are doing just fine. This district is actually still a lot better than many others though. It’s the most technologically advanced and cleanest of all.
People
There is a reason why this district is far in the lead when it comes to technology. Just as everything else here, the artificial people living here are some of the most advanced. They are the smartest and the fastest, able to come up with the most advanced electronics, and also make new, even smarter artificial people. They’re the happiest crunching numbers all day long, inventing new technologies and coming up with ways to improve their products. Unlike many other artificial people who think in binary code, the artificial people living here are the only ones thinking in hex code. Yes, the “hex” in there sounds a little bit cursed, and to be honest it is. If these guys one day decided to take over the world and rule people they could do it no problem. But see the thing is, they are so far advanced that they aren’t interested in making the mole people suffer - after all these are the people paying them good money for the electronics they produce. Also, such barbaric concepts as having to rule over someone else and make someone else suffer were left far behind in the Old World so don’t even start with it.
The technology
The technology found here is the best that you can currently find in the world. This is the home of production facilities for the world’s leading tech companies such as BunTech, SQR and several others. All of these are excellent companies with high-end products, but the technology actually used in District 708/34-87 is on a much higher level. Everything here has to work precisely and perfectly to ensure the high quality of every product produced here. All of the town is connected through a network similar to the internet, and synced perfectly. These fancy artificial people have the ability to just think up an email and send it to someone else right out of their head. All of the factory machinery is connected to the same network, and so controlling the production is as easy as just thinking about it. Malfunctions may still happen, but with all of the district being connected, any issue gets fixed quickly and efficiently. The rest of the Industrial Area (and the world) can only dream of getting in the level of District 708/34-87.
