Cuddlebugs

Cuddlebugs are animals often kept as pets in West T@Ö#Å3. They aren’t as smart and affectionate as catbunnies, but they do make quite good soft and warm cuddle buddies. They aren’t only kept as companions, but also for their soft fur that can be made into warm wool for clothing.

Appearance

They are more or less a hybrid of some sort of a caterpillar creature and something like a small dog - probably a maltese dog. They’re about the size of a small dog, but shaped more like a short caterpillar. They have four pairs of legs with dog-like paws, big insect-like eyes and something that looks like moth antennae. They have long, silky soft, usually white hair, much like a maltese dog. They do have a mouth somewhere, but it’s hidden behind their long hair.

Diet, Care and Behavior

Cuddlebug’s diet consists mainly of leaves, berries and nuts, but will also eat twigs and tree bark. They aren’t too picky and don’t eat too much, so feeding them isn’t too much of a hassle.

While they aren’t too demanding when it comes to food, they need a lot more care and attention when it comes to their fur. They have long hair that has to be brushed daily, and it has to be washed and shampooed regularly. Not all people keep them for their fur, but the ones that do have to take extra special care of them.

Because of their fancy delicate fur, they are exclusively indoor animals. Because they don’t get out much, they tend to get very attached to their owners and need a lot of attention. It’s easier for the ones who keep them for their fur - they usually have a lot of them, so they can keep each other company and play with each other.

In any case, they tend to be a little bit spoiled. They love to be pampered and cuddled and rest on their silky pillows and not think too hard about anything.

Cuddlebug Wool
