Everyone knows the Holy Mountains at the far west of Mountain area, but these aren’t the only mountains here. Oh no, Mountain area is named that for a reason. Of course, there are many mountains all over the world but this place seems to have many mountains that are a little bit holier and more significant than the rest of the world. And one of these mountains is the Blue Sun Mountain.
Location
It is located in the east of Mountain area, in the part that reaches into West T@Ö#Å3. This mountain belongs to the mountain range nearest to West T@Ö#Å3. Blue mountain is considered to be the tallest peak of this mountain range at 4371m.
This mountain is one of the few accessible to people, or at least the one not too far for people to be willing to travel to.
What makes it special?
This mountain is considered to be quite a significant mountain. It is named after the blue sun present in the mountain area, the one that keeps this part of the world freezing cold all throughout the year. It watches over the holy lands where Glitter God and Satan reside, and it’s considered almost as sacred and the gods themselves are. But as Glitter God and Satan have their own mountain - or actually, three of them - so does the Blue Sun.
This mountain was chosen to be the Mountain of the Blue Sun, because it’s just close enough for people to reach it, but yet far enough that only the most devoted are willing to travel to it. The mountain may have been chosen randomly by the people to honor the Blue Sun, but has since obviously been favored by the Blue Sun.
Though many like to come here, there aren't a lot of people who actually make it here, and the ones that do, come here to be alone and at peace with themselves and the nature around them. Because of this, this area has this sense of calm around it. Even though there may be other people there, it’s always calm and silent here. Being so far away from the rest of the world and in a climate that isn’t found anywhere where people live, give this area an otherworldly and ethereal feel.
What can be found there?
Well, it’s a mountain and that’s more or less it. There are two paths leading to the top: a shorter but more difficult one, and the other that is easier to walk for the ones who aren’t experienced mountaineers but longer. At the top there is nothing more than an area with a sacred lake - Lake of the Blue Sun. Despite being so high up on a mountain in the coldest area of our world, this lake always seems to be filled with warm water. This is a blessing of the Blue Sun itself. Not only the water is always warm, it is also believed to possess healing powers, and anyone swimming in it is sure to be blessed with good health.
Even if one isn’t interested in swimming, this is a good place to rest and meditate. This area is seemingly so far removed from the rest of the world, it really feels like you’re in a different realm, detached from reality and your daily worries, which makes meditation here easier and more pleasant.
Though many people like to come here, this area remains pristine and untouched by tourism. It’s not a place to sell trinkets and have fun, it’s a sanctuary where one comes to heal their body and soul in the presence of the holy Blue Sun.
