Amaranda

Amaranda is a ship. Well, not just an ordinary ship, but possibly the most well known and luxurious cruise ship in the south sea of Continent of Å+*4~. It sails from Central District all the way to East Bay in Fairy Gardens. It makes a few stops on its way in different towns along the shore, and it sails back and forth from 3rd to 8th month.

The Ship

Amaranda is considered to be one of the most luxurious ships of this area. Though considered one of the biggest, in our world this means it can house up to 100 guests in its 30 cabins. They range from small 1 person rooms, to bigger ones that can house up to 4 people. Apart from these guest rooms, the ship also needs space to house the ship’s staff and owners.

Aside from rooms, the ship offers plenty of entertainment and activities for its passengers. It has the main dining and entertainment area that pretty much serves as a town square, but on a ship. It also has lounge areas and bars on decks, and even a whole pool, which is something not a lot of these cruise ships can actually afford. There’s also a variety of shops and a fitness spa.

The Trip

Full trip from Central District to East bay takes around 4 days one way. During this time The ship makes a total of seven stops in major towns along the way. In each of these towns, it stops for several hours, for people to have enough time to board the ship, leave it, or spend some time in the town before returning to the ship and sailing on.

Some people use this ship for a short trip from point A to point B, but a lot of people choose to stay for a week or two, just kinda sailing back and forth once, twice, or even 3 times. Many people like to take time to visit and experience all of the towns the ship stops in, taking full advantage of their vacation.

Ownership and employees

As it would usually be with these ships, Amaranda too is owned by a large family who lives and works on the ship. A family like this would fall under the category of caravan families, though instead of transporting cargo, they transport and entertain tourists.

The family takes care of most of what is there to be done on the ship, but during the active months, they take on other employees or even families interested in working and living on the ship for a few months. Life like this isn’t for everyone, and for many living and working on a ship for a year or two is just enough.

The family itself, though, lives on this ship full time. Even in the inactive months they stay on the ship, though they stay docked in one of the regular towns they make stops in.
