Treaty of the Seven

The Treaty of the Seven is the name of the treaty that ended the Court Civil Wars which were a series of intense political skirmishes and wars that lead to the crumbling of the Kohaarteba Empire. The details of the treaty broke the Empire into 9 nations, 7 of which became known as "The United." These seven kingdoms are made up of Ghaateba, Spenke, Nasma, Kohare Ka Jangal, Shaljabal, Alshamas, and Glieca. With this treaty was also established the "Mandate of the Saat," which is the official establishment of the Saat faith. Many consider the seven kingdoms central to the faith of Saat. Torata chose not to be connected to The United and remains a prominent trading territory. Sakhira was another resulting nation. Sakhira's leader, Beilish, declared its independence and is considered to be a War Criminal by The United. The Civil War and the fall of the Kohaarteba Empire was believed to be orchestrated by Beilish, a Changelings who grew discontent with discrimination against him.
