Son of the fabled Towerband hero, Tomas Varna, Konnelin is an old man with a proud legacy. His father famously abdicated the role of Tower Chancellor after the second singing of the Song of Harmony, but Konnelin has worked hard to earn the role and the respect of his peers to maintain it.
Konnelin though is reaching the end of his life. He has stopped traveling to Nightsand Tower for Council meetings for the past six seasons, instead sending representatives or holding irregular sessions at his home in Shadespire Tower.
