Song of Harmony

Part magical spell, part thalmalogical achievement, part official proclamation, part establishing contract, the Song of Harmony was sung by the surviving members of the Towerband after their victory at Nightsand Tower. The Song established the new unity between the four Pillar kingdoms (dwarves, elves, humans, and orcs) and codified the insistence on preserving the sanctity of life. It is responsible for the creation of the Tower Kingdom and all its subcommittees and bylaws.
The Song is sung again each year to establish any new modifications.
Over the years, the mystique of the Song has been in its essential nature. Songtheorists have largely settled that the Song only works as long as it is rigidly adhered to. If a specific threshold of unnecessarily taken life were to be reached, the spell of the Song would collapse and the Tower Kingdom would fall. Many Tower organizations operate under the authority of this theory and make difficult decisions with this principle in mind.
