One of the first locations settled by the Zaadian people. It has since grown to envelop all of the other nearby settlements and is recognized as the capital of Zaad

roughly 50% Human, 25% Thraak, 15 % ,and 10% others
Around half of the citizens are impoverished and struggle to make a living.
Those with money are welcoming to visitors of all species. But those who are marginalized are hostile towards visitors, especially those who are not human.

There is a robust city watch that are well trained.
History
Once a dense farming community, it's fertility brought great wealth to the farmers that settled there. This caused rapid growth in population and as other settlements in the area were assimilated, it became a center for trade. And as the trade routes prospered more artisans, nobles, scholars moved to the area and pushed towards urbanization.
Tourism
There is a large amount of tourism, especially during festivals and tournaments.
Geography
Nestled in the Stroom river valley, Eesrte is mostly surrounded by the Bes Berg Mountains. Some farms still remain along the banks of the river where nutrients in the soil are replenished by seasonal flooding. But it is no longer the agricultural hub it once was. The is a Thraak settlement in Bes Berg Mt that has been a source of cultural exchange between the humans and their neighbors. There is also an event field at the edge of town where every season there is either a festival or tournament.
