Market Port
The Northern Wharfs bring in the goods, but it’s Market Port that sells them. Home to artisan and trading guilds, shopkeepers, craftsmen, and bankers, you'll find higher-end inns here than in the northern districts, and plenty of caravans making final preparations before hauling their goods across the empire. They say enough coin is traded here everyday to turn the Oris River gold, but only a fool would melt that much coin. Fort Gunnhild guards the estuary of the Oris and the shore of Market Port. Gudrun Gunnhild, a dwarven architect and general helmed the construction of the fort as a gift to Emperor Ivar Stahl. Due to General Gunnhild’s design and the durability of Arram stone, Fort Gunnhild has stood strong since that first stone was set at the founding of the Empire.
