The Elven Houses
Seperated Houses
The three major noble houses of the elves hold parliament, however they come from radically different backgrounds that cause their focuses and issues to constant conflict. Centuries-long filibusters and constant bickering prevent advancement in elven society and threatens the stability of its tense alliances with outside forces
House Xeryth, Noble Outcasts
In the Great War, none suffered more than the high elves. Once a powerful and peaceful empire, now cut down to but a single noble house. House Xeryth holds many long grudges with the empire, as barely two generations have passed. When they fled to the lands of the wood elves, they were accepted with open arms and brought with them a host of politics that would revolutionize the Sylvan Conclave. Today, the house continues to push isolationist motions in an effort to strengthen the fractured woods.House Aolis, Seaborn Fighters
Once proud and noble raiders that inhabited the Ore Coast, the sea elves were also pushed out from their ancestral home. Now taking the southern borders, they have removed themselves from most elven worries and host only a singular member in the house parliament. They ride a thin line with outside forces, generally looked down upon for their histories of raiding and piracy. While criminal activity is behind them, the house still values strength and freedom above all else.
Heibalar, the Olive Branch
The wood elves had not been near as affected by the great war as the other tribes, and their soil remains unfettered by blood. Optimistic by nature, house Heibalar has tried time and time again to heal the wounds between the Empire and the other houses, and until very recently they have continuously failed. After a successful diplomatic mission, they have begun the process of opening borders between themselves and Avonguarde, which will hopefully take root and bloom into a beautiful relationship that lowers the tensions and brings about a time of true peace for the land.
