King of the Badlands

The unquestioned king of the badlands made up the border between the Spiremaw Peaks and Kresea. He made his claim by not only being more calculated than the average bandit chief but by laying waste, to any that questioned his right to be top dog. He would not just leave those that questioned him bloodied and broken, he would give them a chance to challenge him again once healed. Eventually, every bandit in the north bent a knee to the Great Khan

Brotherhood

Fear is only one tool Kassian uses to keep his group together. Those that finally join his ranks find that he treats all of his loyalists like brothers in a family. While he is unquestionably at the top, he is more than respected, he is loved by his comradery of cretins. Those that are lost, weak, abandoned by society find solace in the legion.

Royal Blood

Kassian comes from a noble heritage, but being raised in such a lavish and boring lifestyle drained him of all joy. When he abandoned his life to become king of the Badlands, his taste for the finer things came with him. Once he became strong enough, he intercepted noble transports, killing princes and ambassadors alike to take their antiquities for himself. He is now decorated in golden wristbands and exquisite clothing.

Encounter with the Branded

The Branded needed to move through his lands but were short on gold for his tax. A Deal was struck for free passage given they killed a giant basilisk that had made its home in one of their common passages, followed by a fantastic meal for the entire camp. Within a single day, the beast was struck down, and the group was allowed passage.

Conqueror of Paradise

Eventually, a Mysterious group of individuals found that their interests aligned with Kassian's ascent to rule of the Kresean Capital. They enlisted his bandit brotherhood, and together they led an intense siege on the city. The Ending result was a shifting of crowns, where the "Butcher of Kings " finally had the throne he dreamed of.
