The Fae of the Forest was one of the only survivors of the event that caused the extinction of both the Fae and the Felfae, though her existence is still widely contested by many. Most believe that she is the cause of the Whimsical Woods, and the creation of the Faekin.
The stories suggest that she escaped to a woodland area on the northern border of Nuria beset beneath the Athame mountains. This area became known as Whimsical Woods, as it survived the destruction of Nuria and is the only life amongst the Scorched Lands.
The Fae of the Forest has never been given a chance to grow up. She entered the Woods as a child and grew up with little to no contact with the outside world, meaning she never became an adult. She is an immensly powerful magic user, but does not have the discipline to use it effectively.
