Athame

Peering high above the continent, Athame's entire country is taken up by a large mountain range that divides the regions of Vertiste and the Reizi Plains. The country is mostly known for its capital, Athame, and the University that resides there. Known for keeping a library of history of the continent, alongside teaching people from all walks of life how to lead countries, rule armies, handle a blade or hone their skills in magic, the Athame University is a cornerstone of culture across the entire continent.
Athame is not just it's University, however, villages and towns litter the mountains, and though the region isn't as populace as other's there are a variety of characters that hail from Athame. As most of the region is based upon the Mountains, its locations are often above the clouds. There are also many old and unused entrances to the Underways littered throughout the mountains.
Due to the magic that floats upon the air, partly due to the Titan that resides beneath the mountains, a lot of fauna and flora throughout the Athame Mountains tend to be more magical than those of other regions.
