Human Made Space Craft
Human made space craft, often designated HSC (Human Space Craft) are any ships created by Humanity, regardless of where in the two systems they originate. These ships are designated as such because HSC utilise Human technologies and understandings of space travel.
Each manufacturing company includes their own version of each technology, and some may include unique technologies human made or not. To be designated a HSC a vessle must include atleast 3 of these technologies:
Common Place Technology
- Origin Drives - Humanities way of achieving FTL travel, injecting a liquid version of Ventureon into a ships thrusters, increasing the outputted thrust to faster than light speeds.
- Chemical Rockets - Most commonly liquid-propellant rockets, utilising liquid hydrogen as the propellant and liquid oxygen as the oxidiser. Chemical Rockets are required for Origin Drives, and so both are almost alway aboard HSC.
- Newton Generator - Humanities artificial gravity generators, based off technology found aboard the Entity, the same discovery that lead to the Origin Drives being able to create FTL speeds.
- The Arbour - Humanity needs oxygen to live, whilst some ships only rely on onboard oxygen tanks, most Human ships larger than a fighter craft, have an Arbour aboard. This is a micro-ecosystem filled with plants, from small shrubs or a singular tree to full forests aboard larger vessels. Arbours work in tandem with artificial oxygen recycling system onboard. Most humans who live aboard ships have become very adept at noticing the difference between natural oxygen produced from an Arbour, and recycled oxygen.
