Cosmic Magic

Cosmic Magic, also known as Magik, is the underlying nature of the universe. Humanity understood it as physics for millenia, and whilst physics is a small part of the Cosmic Magic, it is not it entirety.
Humanity was only able to grasp the concept of Cosmic Magic after the discovery of Ventureon and more specifically the entity that lead to the creation of the Origin Drive. Being able to accomplish faster than light travel, and expand their understanding further.

Manifestions of Cosmic Magic

Physics

Humanities understanding of Physics is but one part of Cosmic Magic, the understanding of thermo-dynamics, gravity and its affect on Space/Time, elctromagnetism and so on.

Psionics

An area of Cosmic Magic that Humanity has only understood since arriving in the Boreal System, psionics is the term to describe abilities beyond a creatures natural. So far no sentient species of alien life has been known to have psionic abilities as standard, and as such a list of psionic abilities has been understood.
Psionic abilities are the most common form of magik abilities that manifests in sentient life with around 1 in 500 sentient lifeforms born in Boreal graced with these abilities and only 1 in 20000 in Solar. In Solar these abilities have been present throughout history, though those graced were prosecuted and put to death as witches, or their abilities never grew strong enough that they were noticeable.
Extra Sensory Perception, or ESP, often manifests as the most common, appearing as heightened senses of smell or hearing, in some cases however it manifests as a sixth sense. This sixth sense allows those with the ability to sense the presences of magik energies nearby, be they natural, from a Gauntlet or another being with psionic abilities.
Telekinesis is the ability to move objects with only a person's mind. It is however known that telekinesis as a psionic ability isn't moving objects with the power of the mind but connecting to the magik around it, using that magik to lift, push or pull objects and people.
Telepathy is connecting two minds and being able to relay information between them. Most with a telepathic ability are only able to relay information through images or memories, some more powerful can communicate through speech.
The last psionic ability is Future Sight, the ability to predict the future. This manifests in only 1 out of 10000 sentient beings born with psionic abilities. It is extremely rare. In some they can only predict a few seconds in advance, giving them the appearance of heightened senses or reflexes. In some of the more powerful psionics with this ability, they can predict days or weeks in advance. There has only been one recorded case of a psionic being so adept with future sight that they could predict events over a decade before they happen.

Gauntlets

The Gauntlets are Humanities defining technology, the first time they have used their expanded understanding of the universe, refining it into new technology. With the Origin Drive's the understanding of the technology came from the Entity, the Gaunlets were new. 
Taking the natural order of Cosmic Magic and distilling its nature into wearable technology, putting the power of the universe in the hands of anyone and everyone.
