Farcan is a moon elf archmage. He is a high up and respected member of lynoras. he is nearly as high up as the council. even though farcan does feel elves superior he is also nice to outsiders.
Farcan is nobility in lynoras and a high member of it's government.
Farcan has middlelong silvery blue hair that he has tied back often. he also has a impressive collection of diffrent magical robes that he weares.

Personal history
He was born in lynoras but not in any high circles. by the time he was born his parents were old peasant elves. By the time Farcan was 50 years old his parents had passed on and Farcan left the city to become a adventurer. he had taken a interest in wizardry and had learned the base bay his parents. He first traveled to whipywhee where he met Wila for the first time. after having done some work in whipywhee and surrounding other southern parts of stormrend around the gnome city parts. during a year of adventuring another companion joined the party: a human Touxiuen mercenary called Éric Abadie
He was a adventurer around the area of Porondar for 8 more years. he became such a strong wizard so early in elven life because he was forced to learn fast in the start with the challenges the party faced.
Farcan also has laid a lot of connections due to his adventuring. he is known in porondar and also has friends in the arcanum syndicate.
after his adeventuring party disbanded. farcan was offered a high position in the arcanum syndicate but he decilined instead choosing to become a correspondent in lynoras. he came back in his home city and after he was found out he immediatly climbed the city's ranks with his strong magic. within 40 years he got his tower and started teaching other wizards. he also got a really high position in the city's government too. he is a overseer of magic develepmont in the city. his name Ahnvather was elevated to nobility.
eventually he met the chaos crew and grew a liking to the people. they worked together for a little bit. when a powerfull artifact called the mindsculptor appeared both farcan with a group and the chaos crew went after it to attempt to get it. farcan failed and though he is salty about it he did also treat people he kind of sees as friends very poorly and feels bad about it. farcan wants to apologize to the party.
Employment
Farcan is a teacher in the arcane arts. he takes on pupils that come to him for training that he believes have potential. he trains them for pay. he is expensive as he is such a powerfull and known mage. unlike a lot of other wizards farcan teacher very practical believing that using fireball is beter than theoreticly knowing how to use it.
he has a training hall and a writing room for students in the lower parts of the upper tower.
enymire, one of his students has also become his assistant now also living in the tower. she is conversely also the best student he has.

Motivation
Farcan wants to keep lynoras going well and protects his people but something he wants even more is to further understand and practice magic, to develop new spells, to help new upcoming wizards.
one other motivation is to help adventurers as he has been in that position himself and knows how much they risk their lives wheter it's for coin or not.
