Figueroa Family
The Figueroa Family is a casino family, and one of the newest ruling Families of New Vegas. In control of the Heart Stop in Freeside, their territory encompasses the geographical center of the city, from N 43rd Street in the west, to 55th Street in the east, and E 22nd Street in the north, to Central 40th Street in the south. They are known for loaning funds to local businesses, and raking in caps within their casino, both in games, and at shows.
The family has quickly garnered a reputation for both honor and ruthlessness, granting people many chances, but removing those who push too far with brutal methods, including the infamous columbian necktie.
Started in 2289 by a mexican immigrant from south of Caesar's Legion, Esteban Figueroa, Esteban set up a business in Freeside, using the funds to help his community, as many young men began flocking to him, Esteban found himsrlf in control of his entire neighborhood, and in 2295, his family was invited by the Courier to join the Ruling Families, alongside powerful mobs like the Omertas, and the Chairmen.
