Karrak Bryndffolk (CARE-rak)
The Karrak are born touched by the element of stone. They can be found in all tribes and clans of the Bryndffolk, and their role in society varies by tribe.

Anatomy
The connection that the Karrak Bryndffolk share with the Earth Elementals of Fahr Ryasc gives their skin the ability to change in a similar manner to a chameleon's when in near proximity or in contact with a sufficient mass of bare stone.
Biological Traits
Karrak Brynd enjoy greater than average physical strength as compared to other Bryndffolk. They are also more enduring, and enjoy greater physical stamina. They are, however somewhat slower in movement and reaction than their other Bryndffolk cousins.

Among the Kymric Brynd, Karrak are priviliged, being seen as representative of the mountains themselves and particularly blessed by Tkraock, the Stone King. The Karrak are commonly appointed to positions of authority and the customs of Kymric culture benefit Karrak.

Facial characteristics
The Karrak present rough, angular features. They tend towards high cheekbones and prominent brows. Their jaws are often squared. They have wide, flat noses and narrow eyes.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
The Karrak often have skin color of earth tones, warm greys, browns, deepening to black, often with patterns and striations of color tinted simialr to gemstones. Uncommonly, instead of striations, their gemstone colors display as flecks all over their bodies much like freckles in other peoples.
Karrak hair often compliments their skin colors (either their main skin tone, or the secondary tints or flecks. Karrak hair is thick and cabled, sometimes similar to woven strands of metal. Karrak have irises that are faceted and tinted in gemstone colors.
