Calcifer Helios

Emperor Calcifer, the flamboyant and ostentatious ruler of the fire fairies, is known for his boisterous personality and insatiable thirst for power. Despite his commanding presence, he has a tendency to indulge in frivolous activities and can often be found at the casino, gambling away his riches.

Background

Calcifer Helios was born into royalty, always having every whim catered to. He was a very demanding child, and he turned into a very demanding adult. He would throw explosive tantrums until he got his way, and he always got his way. He's been the one in control since before he even left the womb.
He got rid of every nanny who didn't serve him properly, and this disposable nature carried into his love life as well. He would find a fairy to that lit his heart ablaze, and then discard them once the fire went out. Rinse and repeat.
He's been married eleven times, with the twelfth wedding on the way. He even had children with many of these spouses, of which he doesn't give much attention to. The person that matters most to him is himself.

Personality

Calcifer has a very loud, boisterous personality. He demands attention in every room he's in, with a loud booming voice and laughter. (He also will quite literally demand the attention be on him.) He has a hot temper, and it's best to avoid the times when he blows up.
Despite his contentment with his current status and the freedom to do as he pleases, Calcifer sometimes longs for the immense power that the royals once possessed. He imagines the glory and prestige that came with their position, and the ability to command armies and influence entire nations. While he knows that such power comes at a price, he can't help but feel a twinge of envy and curiosity about what it would be like to wield such authority.

Appearance

Calcifer has brown skin and a firey, orange beard and long flaming hair. He is often dressed in fireproof armor made of only the best metals Mount Hellion has to offer.
He's quite a big guy, with a large chest and a larger gut, but he's not all that tall.

Reign

Emperor Calcifer rules with an iron fist! Or... he wishes he could, but the royals don't have all that much power, do they? He wants nothing more than to command armies into battle, but the most battle his armies get is fighting off a squirrel that's accidentally wandered into town.
Regardless of there not being a lot he can really do, he still demands attention and appreciation. He wants all the Fire Fairies beneath him to bow down to him, to uphold him as the best leader there ever was! But, he doesn't do a lot to actually deserve that respect. The most his people get is invites to a new wedding every few years.
