Mount Hellion

Perched on top of and around an active volcano, Mount Hellion seriously brings the heat. Fresh lava bubbles and flows throughout the inferno, really getting the temperature high. To combat such a harsh environment, the fairies live in buildings made of metal, architecture, and aesthetics leaning towards industrial steam-punk themes. The main trade of Mount Hellion is metalwork, including professions such as weaponsmiths, armorers, welders, and all else that can stand the heat. Unless you're quite prepared, it is a rather uninhabitable area to all that aren't Fire Fairies. But no matter! Mount Hellion flourishes through its exports.

Environment

As it is literally on an active volcano, Mount Hellion is blisteringly hot. Lava flows from the mouth of the volcano down to the town at all times.
The fairies have adapted unique modes of transportation, from fire-propelled airships to boats that traverse through the unforgiving lava.
Mount Hellion is constantly shrouded in a bit of a darker atmosphere due to the smoke clouds blocking out natural light, though it stays lit up by the constant flow of the lava.

Culture

The townspeople love to host fire festivals which center around firework shows, fire dancing, and all else.
During volcanic eruptions, fairies will hold rituals and celebrations. They seek the volcano's protection and give offerings. Eruptions are to be celebrated. They are considered powerful displays of the element they embrace rather than something disastrous.
Big (seriously, BIG) bonfire celebrations are held where anyone who's willing can roast a marshmallow over the monstrous flame.
