Azoun Obarskyr V
Azoun Rhigaerd Palaghard Duar Obarskyr V was the 71st emperor of Cormyr, having inherited the throne after the death of his mother, Alusair Obarskyr. He has ruled since 1397, and once he was crowned he immediately set about trying to make various reforms, such as curbing noble's rights, but has thus far faced fierce opposition.
He is married to Nalara Marliir, and has two children, Emvar and Foril, who are set to inherit. Unlike his mother, and her father, Azoun V has little to no skill with the blade. He is a statesman through and through, and has managed to keep the empire strong during his reign thus far, though it is largely due to his mother's groundwork rather than his own talent.
