Jarlaxle Baenre

Jarlaxle Baenre is a male drow and leader of Bregan D'aerthe. Born to the matron mother of House Baenre, Jarlaxle narrowly escaped being sacrificed to Lolth. He later renounced the Spider Queen, and left Menzoberranzan to found the mercenary company Bregan D'aerthe. By the end of the 15th century DR, Jarlaxle has had a long and storied career.
In 1492 DR, he attempted to steal half a million gold pieces from an underground vault in Waterdeep, but was foiled by a group of adventurers working with Laeral Silverhand.

Evasion. If he is subjected to an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, Jarlaxle instead takes no damage if he succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if he fails. He can't use this trait if he's incapacitated.
Fey Ancestry. Jarlaxle has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put him to sleep.
