Hero's Grove

A grove of trees in which an elf community will bury their honoured dead. It is usually separated from the community by at least an hours brisk walk.
A tree is planted over every elf that is buried.  This is typically how the grove gets created.  Elven legend has it that there was once no trees in the world and all of the forests were started as hero's groves.
